I need your help really bad.
My friend set up my account on FFXI over a year and a half ago, A friend i met on vacation.
My account has been stolen, and someone is impersonating me!
I have called POL, but they cant help, because the other person has the account details, but i dont, because i dont know my friends Date of birth. (the friend that set up my account)
Can someone get me a world pass so i can confront this little hacker? I am not about to let 18 months of hard work go down the drain!

I am paying for it, but POL dont care. All i want is a Cerby wp, so i can create a new character on my other Account and confront him, please help!
His DOB should not matter if it's on your credit card. It would be the card holder's DOB.
This sounds like another wp fishing scheme. I think we have enough gil sellers on our server thanks.
hmm.. surely provided you can tell SE your credit card account details and everything and somehow proof you're the person, they can help you out? or else, phone your bank and tell them to cut off the fee from SE, =P

Dont be a dumbass, cancel the charges with your credit card company and stop giving out your account info. Do the world a favor and stay on a different server, Cerberus has enough people dumb enough to share their username and passwords with "friends".
Why did you let this friend you just met on vacation set up this account? And what is your stolen character name? I'm really surprised that you didn't change the password. I've let people set up stuff for me before... (because they are sysadmin or some type or higher up) but I ALWAYS change my password after. (Though it doesn't matter if they are sysadmin because they can still sniff through stuff.)
So how are you planning on creating this character if your entire account is stolen? You need the username and password to be able to create a new character on the same account. By default, any new characters created in an existing account lands up on the same server as the main (the one paying $12.95 USD or however much it is in your currency).
You'd have to purchase and completely new copy of FFXI. If you're that persistant, trying enough times to make a new character will land you on Cerebus.

Your credit card should be enough to get account info back, after I lost my username that's all I had to give for my information back.
