OK folks, is anyone as tired as I am of seeing the same 4 names over and over on the Jeuno AH for the Emperor's Hairpin? They have raised the price to 1,250,000 and holding. They camp the emp 24 x 7 every day. If you have tried to camp or buy the hairpin in the last 2 months you know who I am talking about. I'm not going to name names, we know who they are. Gee - I wonder what they are going to do with all that gil since I rarely ever see any of them doing anything else. So my suggestion is to get as many of us as possible to throw a wrench into their monopoly. I am kinda busy this weekend, but will be on in the evenings. So what does everyone think? I'm not asking everyone to pt up so if you claim the emp its yours. I mean there were 17 hairpins on the AH last night!!! At 1,250,000 - c'mon thats a problem!!! Oh and my name is Dragonfly in game.

A guy in my LS was camping it solo for a few days last week (off and on). There was a person there with like 3 or 4 bots (maybe more??). They all show up at the same time and after the NM is claimed and such, he puts them all on /follow and they go away in a line. My LS mate called a GM and reported the person and all the bots by name. He was told they "...will keep an eye on these characters and test for bots/multiusers..." Not much but thought I would let you all know.

This thread is kind of Smiley: deadhorse

Yes it sucks people does that with NMs (let's not discuss if they are "gil sellers" or not). That is one of the motivations why SE is patching up their software against those jumping bots and windower.

Although you can blame the campers for camping tactics, remember who are the buyers of the item. Someone set it 1.25 million, and someone is willing to pay the price. It may not be you paying that price, but there are people who are willing to shed that money. This is like FFXI economic disparity ><

Thanks for the info Lewbaby. Maybe this new patch will fix it. And scchan I understand this is an often used thread - I am not ******** about the "gilsellers" I am only trying to come up with something that will possibly deter them. Yes I am fully aware that the buyers of these items are also to blame, however do you stop driving your car simply because gas prices have gone up? If you "need" an item, and they have the price set on every one that is on the AH what is your option? Go without it hoping it will fall - ya like that is going to happen when they control the price. I am simply asking if people want to unite to take it from them a few times. I mean thats like saying OMG beeswax is 30,000 gil I'm not going to buy any!!!111!!! Well last time I checked monks can't cast sneak, so gee I guess I get to either farm it or pay the price. But if all the bees were being camped and I couldn't get any chips ummm then what?? Don't say just buy silent oil because my alchemy is 58 and I HQ it like crazy. Oh and that is 17,000 gil a stack. Meh - rate me down I really don't care - Karma trolls unite!!!

Doh! >< Their making it where you can't use windower anymore? :( damn when I came back to the game wanted to use that to look up stuff while on the game >< Anyway... Yeah me and my ex used to camp that sometimes were never really very lucky(In all the times we camped it we claimed it like 10 times got the drop three times) but it was fun to hang out and talk and stuff.. then there started being alot of bots..so we stopped I know it sucks i've had to fight against bots for NM spawns alot sometimes you win sometimes you don't..:(
