Well, we've actually decided their won't be a next time.

Congratulations on your win, Ex, but we were pretty disappointed in how things were handled. You guys had a great strat, I won't take that away from you at all. However, we play these for fun, and padding your LS for a fun event so you can trash talk after the match is just not what we're about.

Like I said, you guys had a good strat, you executed well, I take nothing away from you. Things were definitely messed up from the beginning (not saying it was your fault, it just wasn't well planned on either side) but I was just disappointed at what you felt you needed to do to beat us. LoL

Praetorians, we had a great match and I'd like more of our members to see what a good LS vs LS match is about. Everyone was very respectful, win or lose, and we look forward to another match with you.

What happened in the beginning is really confusing. All I have to say is if someone/group wants to be left alone to do their own business, it is best to leave them alone. It is not courtous to butt into someone's business even one may have the right to do so.

I don't have any issues with Ex. He didn't involve himself in the trash talking etc. that was unnecessary and was actually what I expected him to be as far as sportsmanship. However, I did assume he was the leader of the Dogs and would be the one to keep people in line. This was not the case.

We're very adament about everyone being respectful and we just expect the same in return. Not to say the Dogs as a whole were disrespectful, but there were enough to not remember individual names. Many, however, did the proper, "good game", "let's do it again soon" type comments that should be used.

Me personally, when one team gets hit the way we did going into that match with people butting in and taking over that don't belong to either LS, and people d/cing to where there are 4 more on one team than another, I just don't feel the need to puff up my chest and talk down to them to feel better about myself. LoL.

I'll be the first to admit that I royally sucked though. LoL. I think I got gate breach once the whole time and didn't score a single petra. Sad huh. :-b

They had some great players and a good strat. We didn't begin to execute until there was about 10 mins left which just didn't cut it. Oh well. We went in for fun, they went in to win. Congratulations Dogs, you got your win.

FYI: Fair doesn't always mean what you did was "ok". It just means that no rules were broken.. except the rule of common courtesy.

Yeah you guys did good. Like I said, I'm a collegiate Division 1 swimmer. So yes I know how to trash talk, but I also know how to be a good sport. Dogs were especially excited about this match and pretty much spent the week planning out strats and stuff, so they did their homework. :P

The trash talking was beyond my control. I actually asked the LS to be good sports beforehand.

You guys did good, Iceicebaby managed to land a lucky hit on me in the form of Tachi: Gekko or whatever >.> I would like to try this again in the future, better organized, better planned, and WITHOUT OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE.

Ex, in-game trash talk is fun when it's kept in check. We and the Praetorians were trash talking the whole time more or less, but when it came to the end, we all lined up and shook hands (ok old little league reference but still). LoL. I'd say about half of your members did the same. The other half, well, they weren't such good sports.

It was messed up from square one, but like I said, I take nothing from the skills of your LS mates. I'm sure even if everything had went as lightly planned, we still would have had a hell of a time beating you.

Our event was scheduled for 7EST/6CST. The event that you worked your way into was our practice run. We were basically just wanting to show some of our new Ballista players the zone. We didn't get a chance because you started handing out White pages to anyone you wanted to. And might i add calling us insults the whole time.

And please stop telling people you reserved the Diorama 2 days in advance because that's just a plain fabrication of the truth.

Tainted, I'm sorry I told you to die in a ditch. What I really ment was for you to get beaten by a pack of orcs, robbed blind by goblins once the orcs were finished, urinated on by a tarutaru with a bladder infection, and THEN to die in a ditch. In 18 inches of raw sewage.

For everyone else, good game. Things could have been better, but both sides fought hard. I had fun :)

Hmm...Yes I'm a new member to the Dogs so I guess I don't count much. Hmm...Yes I was invited to join LS the same day..moment..etc of the match, however I was already going to probably be getting a shell due to the fact that both Berek and Shanel were going to ask for one for me and I know a lot of the ppl in that LS. But still, the only time I said anything other than good luck, good game, or sweeeets was when Tainted decided to take it upon herself to dictate a match that should have been ran by the challenging Linkshell in my oppionion.

Tainted you know what you did was wrong so stop making up lies and stories to justify. If I go up to someone and say hey, my linkshell should play your linkshell in a custom ballista match, damn right I want to be the MC and as well I should be entitled to be unless it is worked out that their L.S. will host this event and then their leader or rep would be the MC. That's just common courtesy. It's called homefield advantage etc...which you didn't even give the chance to happen because you just couldn't stand being left out of something everyone else was doing.


As for accusations on Ex....something you all should know, they were the one in linkshell, party, and by ballista earring who kept telling everyone to stop talking trash and just have fun, that it didn't matter if stupid people were messing things up, what was done was done, and for the Dogs to just do our best.

I believe the way it was put was, "Stop bashing people, take your aggressions out on the Battle Field" and that we did. If you wanna blame someone for the high testosterone levels and the already established attitudes, perhaps the real person under fire should be the person that screwed the match up in the beginning in the first place, causing imbalance and confusion. That's why everyone was mad, and not saying it's justified, but I truly believe that had this person not intereferred, spirits may have been more positive and none of the trash talking would have happened in the first place.

And I do agree with Ex, if we did this again the way it was meant to be done, I'm sure you'd find a lot better sportsmanship on the playing field because you wouldn't be dealing with a pre-disposed disposition that someone who was not, and should not have ever been invited was afterall playing on your team and ******** things up for everyone.

That's just my 2gils worth, feel free to tell me to shut up unless your name is Tainted, cause you know you screwed up and I don't think your entitled to an oppinion in the matter.

Sorry but i can not check their Ls message... There was confusion about the time zone prior to all of this. I was told the members of the dogs were informed. Either way Tainted, you continue to bring yourself into this... I guess you love the attention! ^^ Can we call you Paris?
