Its almost impossible to camp emp these days with all gilsellers around there. I've been out there a couple times and have seen those sellers camping it non-stop. I've also a certain person D2 other players and my Linkshell members while I was out there once. She'd ask them if they wanted to join her party, and then she'd D2 em back to their home points.

That'd be Cetranne. She bragged about it in the BLM boards, and a member of my ls has had it happen.

ExTaCee, if you don't mind, I'd like to camp it with you this weekend if you intend to. If that's okay with you, of course ^^
I remember one day while I was particularly bored, instead of camping VE, I camped a suspicious character. As soon as they moved, I was going to chase them with Flee and such. Unfortunately, I got bored and left before I had the chance to see it pop.

I know there has been a lot of controversy on whether or not it's possible to actually have a program that will run on it's own to kill a specific monster and I can say with no doubt whatsoever these do exist. I have a subscription to Game-Secrets and have seen them advertising the bot programs etc and it's really sick. These things will voke about 2 seconds before any of us even see the mob because the script tells it to look for the pop in the programming. So basically how it works is it will use a prism powder or invis spell and then wait. Soon as the name comes up in the program echo the bot provokes.

I've actually seen this done, at least suspect so when Berek and I were camping Stroper. We were standing there, when some chick comes out of nowhere uses provoke on nothing and instantly stroper pops claimed. It's ********* wish we had someway to prove it.

It goes even further to say that if you have the proper windower you can run this program on a whole party of campers and just sit back and rake in the money. What they do? They camp one bot in each pop spot with the scripts running in each window and bam, guaranteed to catch it wherever it comes up.

This is truly sad. I wish programmers would find a way to practice scripting in a manner that doesn't involve ******** up a perfectly fun game.

OMG Kaitha,

That same thing happaned to me.

I was helping someone in the LS with RSE there and decided to camp Stroper as I waited for her to go exchange the magic pattern.

So there are 2 other people there camping it and I stand right in the middle of them.

Then they both use camouflage at the same time (they were thfs subbing rng I guess, they were anon). SO I am like wtf what are they doing. I get a lock on one of them and turns out it popped behind one of those rocks.

I was a little suspicious and pissed, but I just thought they must of saw it on radar or WS or something.

So instead of trying to race them to a pop I stand away from them and just focus on a couple pop points.

After awhile, Camouflage!

I run over there and get a lock on one of them and they are just standing there running in circles. I'm trying to figure out what they are doing and then all of a sudden I turn back to go to my camp and BAM, Stroper is claimed right where I left.

There is no way people can get that lucky with invis just to have it pop 2-3 sec later.
