Weekend Thread: 10/14-10/16Follow

Um... stare off into space?

I haven't yet decided what I'm gonna do this weekend. It'll be a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kinda thing this time around.

Friday:
- Unpack
- Finish clearing out the storage unit

Saturday:
- Unpack

Sunday:
- Hopefully take a break from everything and just RELAX.

I'm a bit scared if I play FFXI right now my wife will kill me...we have too much unpacking and stuff to do. I guess that's what happens when you buy a new home! Have a nice DSL connection set up already though...so maybe I'll sneak some time in!

O and play tennis and MAYBE do homework... HAHAH like thats gonna happen!

-Continue with my mission to learn to speak Spanish. (Yeah, I'm Canadian...but it's close enough to French that it isn't too hard.) ^^;

-BRD 51+, pop all AF coffers, tackle AF2 (maybe AF3 if time provides)

-Bonecraft 64+, leather 35+, cooking 97+

-Spend some time outside while it's still nice out...winter is coming. >.> ick

-And finally, keep grinding away towards my SH... ~2M to go, getting there. :3

-Lvl Blm, i been 69 for 2 weeks now so im gonna stretch to 70
-Get BLM testimony so i can beat up Maat( if anyone wants to help please tell me ^^)

and i really don't think HNMLS is what YF is, too see what 99%
of the "HNMLS" are up these days I dont really want to be in that catagory.

all in all we did have fun.

I think the LS did pretty good gear wise. especially on nidhogg.
the koenig body is sweet. alot of abj and god gear dropped on the sky run.Im not sure what kirin dropped cause i fell asleep after about 50% lol

Yeah I wanted to go to Kirin, but 1) I was exhausted 2) I had a hell of a headache and 3) I promised Speck we'd try for his subligar. I drank a Mt. Dew to calm the headache and killed a few fomor RDMs. We got the 2 keys we needed from them, but no subligar. :-/

Sold my apollo staff, monster signa and leaping boots so i could buy Archer Rings and have a try at Ulmo HQing them this time (DAMN YOUR BROKEN HQ SKILLZ!!!)

Shining Cloth, Kirin Pole, and I dont remember the rest. All I know is that the osode curse is still affecting us (Is that the 6th kirin in a row without an osode?)

It was weird doing Kirin with such a small group too. We were at 25 people at the start and lost a few as sleep claimed them lol. As a monk I got to stay in the main alliance for entire fight which was a rare treat.


So my own weekend accomplishments:

I finally got a pair of the +15 mind sune-ate (they only drop when I am out of town for work typically^^) so I am finally doing a respectable amount of chi damage. Set a personal record on Kirin that very night of 1610 ^^

On top of yesterdays madness we also got a few LS members through windy rank 8-10. So after 2 years in the game I finally got around to going for rank 10 ^^

Saturday I helped a whm with the pirates on the boat, but the NMs never appeared. Gained 2 levels in fishing though.

I got a night cape. Um... yea. After landing in selbina I wanted to lvl NPC in the tunnel. On the way, the golden bat finally dropped the cape for the first time ever.
