Anyone who knows me knows I farm Plumes on the Coast everyday. I am no stranger to NMs on CoP especially where I farm. However, the other day while checking on Padfoot I saw a gilseller camping. Before I get a "how do you know it was a gilseller" I will say I know my resident gilsellers on Cerebrus from many deaths at Serket and in Kuftal Tunnel. To those of you still on Proms please be very wary of who you assist on these. It is bad enough we have gilsellers in Sky, them getting to CoP areas and I dread to think SEA would be horrible. I would hate for Astral Earrings, Gobbiebags and other such items to skyrocket to the point that we are no longer capable of farming or buying them. Even though they would probably increase my profit on Plumes I would rather the clothcrafters be able to still powerlevel their synths and keep me feeding the moogles at the table. Thanks.

If you're going to post something, please add enough detail so we either know what it is you're talking about, or so that we can act on/refrain from acting on the situation in question. All vague statements do is frustrate people, or just make it so they don't care.

Detail: Warnfgmv is a gilseller. He was on Lufaise Meadows. This means someone helped him get there, if not his own gilselling buddies. If you are doing Proms avoid taking the gilsellers. Simple enough?
Beating 3 Crag Promvions is not hard at all. In some ways, why should anyone be surprised that so-so be able to make it to Tavaniza?
I hate to say this, but to the OP -- what you were saying was really nothing new. If you want to camp Padfoot (against any other groups), you are free to do so too.

I remember back in the day when all I had to worry about was Kimika and Nov camping Padfoot. Thank goodness I have mine. :)
promyvions can be done.
gilsellers aren't dumb.
gilsellers can as easily get information about promyvions and pass promyvions from these public forums, just like any other player could. i.e. the question isn't about gilseller or not.

anyone can hunt NMs.
gilsellers or non-gilsellers reserve the right to compete for an NM, so long as they can participate to the competition. anyone with enough dedication and patience, that is, to handle all forms of competition.

non-gilsellers can camp NMs repeatedly.
gilsellers probably will camp NMs repeatedly.
underlying is the accusation that gilsellers don't need sleep, and sole duty is to make it difficult for anyone to camp an NM.
referring to the 2nd point above, the ability to camp an NM is a right of every player who pays SE fees to play. it may seem unfair that a gilseller can camp an NM 24/7, but arguably any player with enough dedication and resources (there are too many ways that exist to list, most of which are frowned on, and some outlawed, by SE and other players) can accomplish a similar feat. does that make any other player a gilseller too? if another player makes as much nuisance to possible competition, suddenly this person is a gilseller too?

if i go camp padfoot, and make it my life goal to camp ONLY padfoot, and so happen that i'm just a tad bit faster with my keyboard/connection/what-have-yous, but have passed my promyvions legitimately, and attest to not selling gil, nor buying gil, with real-life references that you can contact to ascertain this fact... would you suddenly ask the forum to stop helping players in general get through promyvions?
