I am thinking of starting to farm wht will i need to start
Erm... a weapon? A job with a level high enough to not get killed?
Do you mean farming, or gardening?
Farming is just killing stuff for the drops, gardening is where you (and your Moogle) grow stuff in your Mog House.
If you mean farming, I suggest checking out what mobs you can handle at your lvl vs. what mobs drop good stuff. Crystals are good, esp. Fire and Wind. Beehive Chips from bees are good, and Silk Threads from Crawlers are good. You will get a better feel for the good farming items as you get more familiar with the game.

If you are looking for some gil, there is also Fishing. You also might want to check out H.E.L.M. That stands for Harvesting, Excavating, Logging, and Mining. Here is a handy link for H.E.L.M. items and maps:

You could also camp NMs for pretty easy money. Then again you could get 25-50% of the money of a drop that you were going for in the time that you camped the NM and got nothing.
And if you're really on Cerberus I wouldn't consider camping Hoo Mjuu. There's this one very obvious botter/speed hacker that sits there all day and doesn't respond to you when you talk to her, but yet happens to run to Hoo Mjuu right when it pops at the speed of light.
Her name is Gentleness. It's pretty annoying.

Ninjajake is a migrating 360 player, and is only lvl 21. His sig indicates he will be starting over (with NIN) when he hits 30.

A lot of the highly camped NMs are getting modifications to their spawn conditions with that patch from yesterday. Expect some leveling of the playing field until this new method is figured out.

Some people in my LS were saying that they thought the new spawn method might be like Rose Garden... I hope not, it'll be sooooo much easier for gilsellers to bot. ><;
