WHM shortages. True or false?Follow

Its been a while since I've been on in game, but I was a bit concerned about the current status of WHM available for parties at 16-50. There are a lot of jobs that I still need to level i.e SMN from 33, BLM from 32, DRG, THF36 etc. The very last party I was in before my hiatus was WHM from 34-37, and I was the only WHM available at the time. Since this seems to be a continuous trend there were also some days parties would sit around for hours searching for a pure WHM, or chewing each other out because pt leaders would have to create healing groups (i.e 2 blm, 2-3 RDM, SMN&BLM RDM, or BRD). This makes it increasingly difficult for people to level up their other jobs that are not soloable.

I don't think I was able to state what I'm trying to say as clearly as I want to, but if there are not enough WHM and less and less appear everyday or are not willing to party, then where does that leave people creating xp parties?

RDM can only act WELL as WHM in a low "damage receiving" party (ie: say NIN tank, WAR/NIN DD... you get the jist) and usually with another RDM or a BRD for further refreshment/cures, or with a SMN to assist with cures. I am not saying a RDM CAN'T be the MAIN healer, but without the BRD factor, you may see alot of downtime for the RDM to get MP. I go RDM/WHM alot with people in my LS but I have a BRD side kick and a NIN tank on the norm. And pre LV 41 (Refresh) the down time will be alot more.... well, unless they are a cook and use drinks... or Ethers....

Now kinda back on the WHM shortage topic... I am a WHM 66 (almost 67) and I have sat waiting for a party for hours before. Thank God I craft and have a choco-baby or else I would be damn upset! LOL! I think the problem is more time of day. I find that after 5:00pm EST hits, alot more people are on and I tend to get more invites to party then. Weekends seems to be an easier time to find party as well. I always seems to see a few WHM my level LFP and I even know of another person in my LS with a WHM at 63 so I guess you could also throw level in as another variable.

I know my LS has 6 WHM lv 70+ and RDM 70+ out the whazzu so I am also kinda spoiled at high level! ^^

if you want a whm make a pt just before all NA people log on there not much pts out there alot of mages to choose from

if you cant then just try and get a smn or rdm to main heal if they dont like it tough they need exp you need exp >.>
