As an Antipodean the more relevant question would be togs or undies.....?
Flannel Jammies.

I was recently cleaning out old files from my computer and I came upon a .jpg named Paulsol's wave. I must have had some idea for the possible use of a picture of a really big-*** wave that you'd linked. Still surfing?

The most popular threads right now are ones where the elder statesmen talk about food that they like.

So I'm driving home from work through the Illinois hinterlands and I see a gravel drive off the main route with a sign reading "Brown Eggs For Sale". One of the nice things about where I live is an abundance of fresh food throughout the warm seasons and I work out in the farmland with a great butcher shop near by, country stores, etc. We've been enjoying some great meals this summer. Anyway, I think "Hey, fresh eggs sound good" and turn in. And drive some long twisting gravel route by a collapsed barn and a sheet steel barn with arrows spray painted on it, past some old woman tending to a few flats of burnt out annual flowers, between some large chicken-wire fenced in pens proclaiming "See our animals!" in case you wanted to see a despondent goat standing in a mud pit and finally reach the store. Which was a small room attached to a closed up gift shop and manned by an elderly Mexican gnome. I'm not sure if he was a tallish midget or a short, round guy with non-proportional limbs. There were no eggs, only some over priced and wilted vegetables so I quickly got back in my car and drove out past a graveyard of no less than twenty rusted out ice cream trucks all arranged in a group.

I've no idea where my eggs were but that place was one goat-girl hybrid and a sundown away from one hell of an X-Files episode.

On the plus side, I found that there's poultry farm more or less en route on my way home that sells fresh & frozen birds. I'mmagonna eat me some chicken.

What you should do is buy two and set up a Roman Coliseum and dine on the loser. The winner lives for another week where you buy another and pit them against each other again.

Maybe I can invite my friends and set up a system where we all put some money into a communal pot for side dishes and guess which chicken will win. Whoever guesses right gets to take the money and pick what side dishes we'll have that week.

How come your Illinois is so much more interesting than mine? Smiley: bah

Also, slightly random, but your story reminded me of it, have you ever had ham from Eickman's?

How about that Nug meat, eh?

Heh, only The Asylum can devolve a world-impacting suckage of a US President (including murder, Constitutional raping, warmongering, etc., as if any of you care) into some forum personality circle-jerk.

Seriously though, I hope you on average get at least +1 ratings from each other against every +1 human beings the United States kills. You obviously have no other purpose or priorities or morals in life, so good luck.

History, legend and reputation aside, the one thing Asylum denizens do better than anyone else on the planet is the art of the thread hijack...

It actually is impressive, or at least unique/unusual.

How many modern forums use a poster rating system btw? I'm honestly curious as to sociology/tribalism/early-internet-history or something.

I'm not stomping, it is about what I expected from these forums. I was drunk and had exhausted my usual forums but remembered The Asylum, but didn't know whether the liberals here were real liberals, or now Obama apologists. So put up a test thread, which nearly everyone either failed because they're mere fairweather "liberals", or rightly ignored because I suck so incredibly much and my name is anathema.

That is, hell. What do you think of Laura Poitras? Abdulelah Haider Shaye?

[Sorry if you've brought these names up in past threads/posts on this forum. LOL if you haven't and consider yourself liberal]

I was in California last week and due to the $US being in the toilet I had a luvly time. I particularly enjoyed a Burrito place near Venice, CPK Pizzas and The Cheesecake Factory was especially challenging on the waistline...

Took the kids to Disneyland as well which was a first for us all. Awesome fun, but feck...theres a lot of people in America. At least they know how to queue up tho.

The July4th event in Cerritos was OK but I got a little uncomfortable during the extremely nationialistic behaviour exhibited by many in the park there. Standing to attention with hand over your heart during a firework display (described as a 'Pyrotechnic Journey Depicting the Story of the Forefathers and Heroes of the Greatest Nation on Earth'!!) was a little over the top imo.

The traffic wasnt as bad as I expected and all in all I had a cool time.

Now in London, where its raining....a lot. the traffic is ****** but the beer and pub-lunches are some of the best in the world.

And yes, Elinda. Im still surfing. Even more so, as I've now stopped working for money.

Also. Content.

Obama has been the disaster that was expected, but compared to the religeous nut that is Romney, i really cant decide who would be the worst fro the next term. I dont see much good coming from either of them tbh.
