So what are the angles here? I stopped paying attention some time ago because the inevitable is the inevitable when people make it so.
Is the story supposed to be that this cop drove by these guys.. and after verbally harassing them (normal) then decided to try to grab the big guy and actually physically drag him into his vehicle? Then when the big guy resists being pulled into the vehicle (AKA kidnapped) and fearing for his life tries to escape and then the cop, in frustration, starts throwing rounds at the guy? Is that what we think happened?
From my poor perspective it seems more likely that this cop did harass these guys and the guys weren't having it and decided to harass back.. the cops starts suffering from an authority complex and gets all flustered and tries to leave the car and falls miserably and then at this case the guys likely start taunting the cop.. the cop then likely approaches to physically detain the big guy who resists and starts throwing hammers.. this cop then starts throwing bullets causing the big guy to instinctually flee for a moment and then in a rage double back around.. all during which time the cops was just spamming his trigger...
pretty ****** all around..
I'm the first person to say that the police are becoming too militarized in both gear and attitude.. but this just doesn't seem to warrant what we are seeing.. The real problem seems to be police policy on how to treat citizens and how to do avoid confrontations that lead to violence.
I'll just leave this here:
