out of the two i'd say family guy. there is raw humor as well as those little subtle clues that the person behind it is not only funny but highly intelligent as well.

simpsons is good but just old.

ATHF is funny, but like that other one (with the super hero dude doing the talk show...help me out) is REALLY twisted. if I had to vote on twisted though I would definately say sealab...that show cracks me up...like they intentionally try to push the line as far as they can then jump over it.

Completely unrelated to the topic at hand, but this struck me as hilarious, because of an episode of MST3K, where Crow, Tom Servo, and Mike break out in a little ditty called "The Canada Song." Can't remember which episode it is, if anyone knows feel free to enlighten.

Simpons or Family guy. Both are great, Simpsons Halloween specials are the best of the series IMHO.
ATHF is freaking hilarious, Shake is the best.
Sealab...gets no better than this. MC Chris awesome as Hesch.
Futurama is the ****, Bender is the man..err..robot..
And I can't beleive Home Movies didn't get mentioned....

Zorak: What's that?
Spaceghost: That's Old Kentucky Shark!

Family Guy. 90% of the episodes made me laugh. A lot. The rest made me laugh some. The Simpsons is good, but Family Guy was great.

That and Titus. Man that was a good show.

"Live fast, die young, and leave a big fat corpse" Bart Simpson

homer: "you'll have to speak up, i'm wearing a towel."

homer - "don't let krusty's death get you down, boy. people die all the time. just like that. why, you could wake up dead tomorrow. well, good night."

"english? who needs that? i'm never going to england." - Homer

"You tried your best and failed miserably. The lesson is: never try." - Homer

homer - "oh, Everything looks bad, if you remember it!!"

Marge: "Homer, you'll kill us all!"
Homer: "Or die trying!"

Man, so many classic Simpsons quotes. Hell yeah, Spaceghost is awesome too, and Futurama. Home Movies is so friggin underrated though. The soccer coach is just hilarious. And that annoying kid down the street (something with a P?) kind of reminds me of somebody I knew as a kid, so stupid you just wanted to hit him.

Man, they don't even compare!

Family Guy wins hands down. The acid wit in the show is priceless. While the Simpsons have been around forever, it's getting tired.

I own all 4 seasons of Family Guy on DVD and I wouldn't trade em for anything!

Family Guy is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen, and I'm glad it's making something of a comeback with the dvds, but the Simpsons has it beat hands down. Best cartoon series ever.
