Hello! I'm back from the Heart of Darkness and am assiduously and voraciously devouring any and all information about our illustrious leader, President Obamer, as my South African and Ozzie friends call him. I am dismayed to see that the press, even by those who championed his ascendency, are beginning to nip at his heels. Case in point:

Here and in other places Barack is assailed on all sides for not being what he was expected to be or do. Is this the cost of being all things to all people? And with the economy in shambles, will his eventual demise come sooner rather than later?

This thread is relevant enough to include this picture in it, right? Considering the post is worded in such a way to make me think everything will be answered in the next episode..

Long before that. The last eight years were simply a long drawn out psychic scream of horror at the rough political beast slouching towards Washington.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Unlike the Republicans, we wanted a President who could handle more than one train of thought at a time.

And who could walk and chew gum at the same time, for that matter.

While walking his daughter's adopted shelter puppy dammit!

I wanted a president who'd finally bring down the price of a Bucket O' Stem Cells. I go through those things like popcorn.

I approve of your plan to stimulate Long John Silvers.

I'm positive they're the only fast food chain that would carry it.

Actually I think the opposite is happening: at swear-in, and a few public speeches real early on, he sounded like he was going to pander to the Right and puss out. But he's now clearly doing those awful, naughty things I elected him to do.

I know. God, even if he only does 2% of what he promised to do, he is going to be a better president than Bush. I love me some Obama. Joe too.
