For anyone that cares, the new Zork game went into Beta today. Odd day, I know. But it's not an April Fool's gag, I got started today.

You know, about a week later they sent me an e-mail hitting me up to buy a copy of the game. For something like $40.00

Seems Zork's beta is open to anyone. I just went to the site, registered, made a character and started playing.

It's not been terribly fun yet.

Yeah. Well, unless you count the image of what you're "fighting" beside the fight text. And you don't have to tell it "e, w, se, sw, w, w" etc. There's a clickable map.

I think it's an attempt at humour. Just do what you do with my posts, ignore it and move on.
