It's going to be a lovely weekend here, weather-wise. Saturday we have an Easter egg hunt and brunch planned followed by a bike ride for me and maybe some shopping for a new camera. Economic crisis be damned!
Sunday I have to get busy on the yard. Pruning, mowing, mulching, planting...all yet to be done. Ugh, but yay! I like having a happy yard.

Today is officially my last day as an employee of the Police Foundation. So drinks tonight, and then it's the start of a 2 week long week-end, until I start my new job in mid-April. I'm quite excited about it.

I will be sitting on my deck this weekend imagining the flower buds, sproutlings, weeds, spores and other wild spring-things that could be appearing in my yard if it didn't STILL have a foot of snow on it:(
My husband brought me back a bottle of Saki from some travels. I think I'll consume it in hopes of enhancing the magical-mystery tour of my lawn.
I'm currently raising up a Squig-herder in Warhammer - he's a charming little goblin. I'm sure I'll get in some game time, laundry time, sex time, shopping time etc etc etc.

Vermont House passed legislation allowing same sex marriage today as well. The governor has threatened a veto and the margin in the House wasn't veto proof (it was in the Senate). So it remains to be seen.

Ritz Camera is closing down a number of stores next week, so if there are any near you you might find some good deals.
Tomorrow, apartment cleaning in the morning in preparation for my parents visiting in the afternoon for a belated 30th b-day celebration. They're taking us out to dinner afterward and then we're going to see a Gilbert & Sullivan play at Harvard. Should be good times.
On Sunday we've got a full schedule of open houses/condo showings. Apparently the tax credit/low interest rates are working since every place we've had our eye on got snapped up in the last couple of weeks. I just don't get how some people can walk into a place and immediately know that they want to live there. Sometimes it seems like my fiance and I are the most indecisive couple on the planet.
Going to hit a Ren Faire this weekend, being held on a recently closed golf course, where many residents shall be protesting said faire. Good times 
Otherwise probably go enjoy the beautiful weather outside and figuring out recipes rich in iron. I just got back from my 28 week check up and it looks like my iron count is so low I'm considered anemic (yay). Sick is planning to stock up the house and force feed me steak for the next 3 months. I'm so upset about that
Everything else looked fantastic though. baby is growing very well, my weight is insanely great, and all those other little things they check came out perfect.

Ok, front yard weed eated. Now to wait for my wrists to stop hurting and I'll start on the back. I love the house we are in. I know we're having to work our asses off to make it nice again but I love the area, I love the town, I love the house. It's so totally worth all the back breaking work.
