Sabs was around for several years, the Asylums relationships were formed much differently than ours and they have a higher degree of intellectual stimulation - whereas we are the kind of folks who would sit in a circle, giggling as we light our own flatulence.
The Asylum has also had many real life get togethers. When you meet people off the boards, it changes the dynamic of things. Also, there are things newer posters don't get until they have been posting for a few years. (Like the people who may seem really "mean" on the boards are some of the nicest people you could ever meet.)
Katie, once you give her a chance (or really, she gives you a chance) is a very caring, brutally honest person who never falters on her opinions. In the years I have posted, she has had the same opinion about adulterers & people who ***** with admins. She has never let popular opinion sway her.
I like what you did for Kyrin. Please try not to let what others say (including me) sway you, just take some time to sit back and observer. Talk to people in PM (like Kaolian) to understand where they are coming from...
