If weathers nice yardwork maybe take the boat out if I have time. If not reading/sleeping/reading/sleeping.

I have a big ol' end-of-the-term project coming due, so I'll be homeworking. I'm gonna try and get out and see Star Trek though.

I'm going to catch star trek this afternoon. I have errands to do this weekend, and a ton of paperwork for my new business. Sadly, I will likely engage in no unnatural homosex.

Was planning on seeing Star Trek, but looks like I'll be putting it off until next weekend. Lots of yardwork (weather permitting), and Mother's Day stuff on Sunday. Saturday's looking pretty uneventful if it does rain, though. Maybe I'll catch up on my Netflix rentals and watch The Wrestler.

Oh, and I'm sure I'll get out at some point with the wifey to compare Home Depot's kitchen cabinet prices to Lowes. Most say Lowes are cheaper and better...so gotta get down there.

I just had my best employee just put in her two weeks because she is going back to school. I'm going to be spending my entire weekend worring about hiring someone for her spot... dammit to hell.

Visiting the girlfriend tomorrow, tonight no plans. Maybe catch a movie? Sunday is Ma's Day. Still need a card for that. Might spend the afternoon with the girlfriend's family as well.

We are only open 8:30-5 Mon-Friday and the classes she needs are all during the day and this summer they are all week long. Also, what she is going to school for is completely different from what she is doing. I'm happy for her, seeing as she is doing something to make her life better and happier, but I really don't want to see her go.

I have another part time employee that started about 4 or 5 months ago but he’s just not the hard worker that she was and I think the HR department is going to make me offer the full time position to him and rehire for the part time.

That, above all else, is what upsets me the most.

Friday I'm playing in Corpus Christi.

Saturday I'm playing in Dripping Springs.

Sunday I'm going to Mom's for a cookout.

I saw Star Trek on Monday at a prescreening. It lived up to the hype in my mind. Definitely worth going to see.

Pet sitting and dog walking. I'm tired of the corporate world and want to enjoy the outside a bit.

I've been working in this industry since 6 weeks after I graduated. 10 long, miserable years. I've made a lot of money, sure, but I've just gotten to the point where I can barely stand to get out of the bed in the morning knowing I have to come here and work myself in to a stress coma so the stockholders of international corporation that owns the holding company that owns this company can make just a little more money next year.

That, and I'm just done with sitting on my *** for 10-12 hours a day. My thighs look like wet, lumpy leather and my back and neck are always sore from hovering over a computer.

It's time for a bold step in to a brave new world where I can see the sun and feel the air, where there are no pantyhose and no one ever says "core competencies" with a straight face.

I could care for them in your home, sure. I'd even water the okra for a small additional fee.
