Drinks and BBQ with friends tomorrow night, pool time a'plenty (91 tomorrow) and hangin' with mah peeps.
My muscles hurt. Silly exercise.

Taking Xavier to the IMAX tonight for a special feature of Night at the Museum 2. Afterward, the kids museum right off the IMAX theater is opening its doors for those who watched the night movie so kids can run around the museum until 11pm. Should be exhausting yet fun!
No real plans for this weekend. We're hoping this is the last full weekend before baby arrives, so probably a lot of chilling, me napping (err storing up on sleep) and keeping legs crossed so he doesnt arrive until at least Wed (midwife is on vacation wheeee!). Possible excursions to the pool(which has become a daily event here with the hot weather).
Otherwise just in waiting mode, counting down, and generally looking forward to being able to roll in bed from one side to the other seamlessly

Or 15 minutes highlight film if we're having a bad day. Or 5 minutes, possibly. Still, should be fun. Later that evening I have a friend's 30th Birthday party in East London, which I probably won't go to because East London is quite far away and I'm not sure he's a good enough friend for me to make the effort.

I'll be celebrating the girlfriend's birthday this weekend, and spending Sunday visiting her relatives in Jacksonville. Wheee!
We have tentative plans for tomorrow to borrow a couple kayaks from some friends and hit the river, or lake, or both. It's raining heavily atm, and forecasted to continue on til late tomorrow. We'll see.
I'm trying to convince my husband I need a new car, so, maybe we'll go look at some.

As for scabby knees, i can post a pic. I dinged mine on the stairs when I was leaving the math lab yesterday (baby is fine, my sense of balance is just way off)
This weekend we are taking Suki to a tumbling course for ages 10 months to 2 years. (if she likes it, we plan to enroll her for the summer.) since the gym is near the zoo, we will probably swing by to the zoo (yearly pass.) other than that I'll probably just be practicing math (the new professor is just teaching us to pass tests by using the tests as review. great if all you want to do is pass but terrible if you really care to learn it)
Raid tonight, dinner tomorrow with friends, Sunday is unplanned.

I have a huge bruise on my knee where my dad's German shepherd headbutted me yesterday.

Tonight we are having friends over for beer, pizza and Game 7. GO WINGS GO!!
Tomorrow one of my bands are playing at a burlesque benefit for a local animal shelter.
Sunday is back to Mom's to get the last of her stuff out of her shed before her new tennents move in.
And hopefully some how some way I'll get by the The Texas Folklife Festival this weekend.

I suspect that this idea is one of those ideas that sounds great in principle, but I foresee fun for the kids and disaster for the museum itself... I know what I'd be doing to the museum displays right after watching said film and I'm not in grade school anymore!
This weekend, I'm visiting with a cousin who's coming in from out of town. And mostly I'm recovering from last weekends family events. Not content to play "monster" or "dogpile on the adult", the kids talked me into playing tag. Which seems innocuous enough until you realize that they have a ridiculous center of gravity advantage and can fit under things you can't. Then place the game of tag on a series of multi-leveled wood deck patios stretching down a steep backyard/hillside, complete with connecting gates and stairs. The imagine you are "IT". I managed to miss the last step heading down one of the sets of stairs whilst attempting to cut off one of the kids from the Base. Fortunately my duck and roll skills are still intact, and the kids all though it was funny, but I'm still feeling it...
After family thing, going over to another friends house for hot tub and fun.
Sunday. I will rest. And play video games.

Fortunately, the museum is for kids, not adults. http://www.marbleskidsmuseum.org/ SO I dont think that should be a big concern. If it were the Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, I might agree with you. But this one is designed for kids of all ages to go crazy
