I live in a cute Georgian house, in a quiet and residential neighbourhood in West London. A few weeks ago, from our balcony, we noticed that a lot of people were entering the ground floor flat, where a middle-aged Chinese woman had moved in. After a while, we noticed that all of these people were men. Without exceptions. At first we thought it might be drugs. Or Chinese lessons. Or Chinese cookery class. Or Chinese massages. But still, we couldn't get away from the fact they were all men.

Last night, as we were having dinner on our balcony, the cops came and knocked on the door of the flat downstairs. During the 30 minutes they spent investigating the place, 3 clients came in, each one of them saying they came for "therapeutic massages"

We spoke to the cops, and they said they couldn't close the place down, since they didn't have absolute proof this was a brothel. Nonetheless, there were 5 young chinese girls in there, and double beds right next to the massage beds.

They have a website, which looks quite dodgy. Even the Youtube video on that site spends far too long focusing on the double bed. After spending 2 minutes on Google, I found this advert. Can it be anything else than a brothel?

On the plus side, it's an extra incentive for people to come and visit me. So, anyone from Alla willing to test the water?

I'm just saying. There's a reason I don't visit brothels in Australia, and it's got more to do with fear of accidentally committing rape than with VD.

A Chinese lady in a small town not far from where I live was arrested for human trafficking not too long ago. She had a Chinese restaurant and she delivered, and she would get these immigrants and keep them in her house for a few months, forcing them to work for her, then she would turn them out without any money or anything.

She had delivered wontons and soup to me before. No wonder her prices were so cheap.
