I'm planning on watching this, assuming I can stay awake . I find it interesting the amount of outrage his appearing on Question Time has provoked - don;t get me wrong, I find Nick Clegg an annoying assmunch, but I guess my point of view is that by being given airtime he gets a chance to publicly prove that (yet again!).

I'm hoping that questions are raised regarding the EHRC ruling that the BNP be open to all nationalities, I really would be interested in seeing his response to the ruling that the BNP must revise its constitution so that it doesn’t discriminate in its membership on grounds of race, gender or religious belief.

Well, yes and no. The real reason why the BNP has been doing well is because of voter apathy. They got 2 members of the BNP elected to the European Parliament recently, but both got less vote than they did at the previous election. The only reason why they got elected was because less people voted overall, and so their proportion of the vote was higher. But the actual numbers show a decrease.

And everything being relative, it's important to keep in mind that the National Front leader in France got to the second round of the Presidential election in 2002, that one of the party who's part of the governing coalition in Italy are avowed neo-fascists, that the Austrians had Jorg Haider in government, that the Swiss People Party put up these kinds of campaigning posters, etc, etc...

So while the BNP isn't great, it's not too bad either. Relatively low support, and when placed in the spotlight, their leader disintegrates as a mumbling, stumbling, incoherent joke of a man.
