I can't tell if this is the worst "news" report I've ever seen or the worst advertising team-up I've ever seen. On the positive side it looks like our crusade to fatten the world is working well in Japan.

I asked my Burger King if they would make that for me...

They said it'd be upwards of ten dollars.

I'm disappointed.

It isnt really selling all that well, even at its price of 777円. At most it has maybe sold one or two per franchise per day, so it pretty much failed as a marketing ploy. On the topic of it being a bad news report, this is pretty much par for course for CNN Japan. They have a tendency to report things that are over a decade old.

What strikes me as odd is why did they decide on the Whopper of all things to have 7 things for in Japan. If they went the route of something along the line of sweets it would be far more successful, even if the place in question is Burger King.
