Public workers strikingFollow

In Philadelphia, http://www.newsday.com/news/nation/philly-transit-strike-in-6th-day-no-new-talks-1.1573766, is going on.

There were talks about the SEPTA workers going on strike before the World Series, but luckily they decided not to ruin baseball. I'm still pretty pissed about it though. I want them to get their money and all-whatever- I'm not into their politics. However, they're making the whole city suck. I used to only take the train if I was going across city, but now I won't take it for anything and my drive sucks total *** in the morning and night. Everyone who owns a car but didn't use to use it before the strike now is out and about and full of **** for brains driving experience.

As this week looms ahead and the strike with it I really wish public transport workers were added to whatever list is out there of un-strike-able jobs.

Nope. I'm not saying the job doesn't need whatever improvements they want, a paid pension plan instead of being forced to play out of their pocket, but in a cynical way- not my problem. I rest just as much fault on the city as them. I wonder how much this strike has cost the city in regards to business lost. All the metro businesses have reported huge losses this week- everyone is standing in these huge hour long lines and not buying their coffee/newspapers/platinum watches that they usually do while at the station.

Yeah, hey, that's kind of the entire point. If people like you didn't get pissed off and complain, workers wouldn't have any political leverage.
