Don't get me wrong. I like Tiger. He's an awesome golfer. It makes ashamed to say it as a Communist, but I also quite enjoy playing golf. I have a handicap and everything. I also quite like women. Not cars so much, but two out of three ain't bad.

I still can't understand why this story is in the public domain. Or why anyone gives a sh*t. "Famous person has minor car crash and maybe an affair". And that's in the news for what, 3 days now? How the fbuck is that possible??

It's because Tiger's not just famous, he's one of the most recognizable celebrities on the planet. Also, I don't know how the rest of the world operates in regards to this phenomena, but in America we love to destroy our idols.

It's because they're denying everything and saying nothing is wrong.

Of COURSE people are going to stay interested, wondering if there's something else being covered up.

It's only "of course" because people are stupid, and invest far too much of themselves into celebrities (as per the OP).

I don't care. I'm not interested.

Like what?? The fact we're really being governed by giant lizard people? The written proof that global warming is a hoax? What an Earth is there of an interest which could be "covered up"????

And yes, it's a great little toy. Also, its manufacturers say it's "healthy" so it must be true. It does make a little hissing sound sometimes, so it could sound a bit strange in court. I suppose you could just make an awkward face and pretend the guys next to you has loose bowels.

Do you ever have reason to go to court anyway?

I did jury service a few years ago.

We had to let free from guy who had beaten up this girl, it wasn't all that fun.

Beating up girls is only fun if you rape them too.

More interesting will be what, if anything, this does to his endorsement deals.

Nothing much I'd wager. He's still one of the most recognized athlete in the world and given his control over his own sport's media, this will be forgotten shortly, as the tabloids will move on to something else and forget all about him.

#69REDACTED, Posted: Dec 03 2009 at 8:23 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Once again most of you don't want to discuss why this is really a story. Black family american idol is caught in numerous adulterous affairs. Can't exactly sell that wholesome family values image if you're caught banging everything that moves. This is important considering the high divorce rates among the black community. Think of all the children who look up to Tiger and what this does to them. Is Tiger going to be ok...nothing blowing a few mil can't cure. The bigger issue is his behaviours affect on younger black kids who look up to him.

Let's dissect this, shall we?
Quote:
Once again most of you don't want to discuss why this is really a story.

It is a story because Tiger Woods is the world's best golfer, and thus a celebrity. I think we mentioned that.
Quote:
Black family american idol is caught in numerous adulterous affairs.

Are you an idiot? The guy is more Asian than black (1/4 Chinese, 1/4 Thai, 1/4 black, 1/8 American Indian, 1/8 Dutch). We usually don't go by the rule of 1/16 or more blood established back in the time of slavery. Also, mentioning "American Idol" in that sentence is ridiculous, and makes me wonder why you'd use a term reserved almost exclusively for a TV show that has nothing to do with golf.
Quote:

Please cite that he bangs everything that moves. Also cite the family values he is selling. He's not Carrie Prejean talking on Christian values, dude, he sells shoes and golf equipment in between rocking tournaments.
Quote:

You mean the Asian community, which is well below that of whites?
Quote:
Think of all the children who look up to Tiger and what this does to them.

Seems more of an issue with children having crappy role models than anything else. I mean, sure, if you think of a pro athlete as a role model, that's great for you... I guess it beats, y'know, pageant winners or pimps or Republicans.
Quote:
Is Tiger going to be ok...nothing blowing a few mil can't cure.

Only thing I worry about is his golf performance. Didn't everyone say he got worse when he got married? Would be interesting if it got better after a divorce... that is, of course, if a divorce is in the works.
Quote:
The bigger issue is his behaviours affect on younger black kids who look up to him.

And a bigger issue than this would be the lack of adequate role models for kids of ANY race, apparently. Strange that when controversies of Michael Vick's dog-fighting came up, we didn't hear a word from you on how this makes him a poor role model for whites. You racist, you.

Pretty damn sure his wife is white. That's not a black family, it's interracial. So, if young black kids are looking up to Tiger as a role model on marriage, we're about to see an awful lot of single black women.

Evidence that blacks should not be able to marry whites.

My gosh! It's already happening!

Reminds me of a Chris Rock comedy show I saw once, where he was talking about black men dating white women and how it drives black women mad. "Don't go taking our good men, white ******** We only have six!"

I heard from a co-worker (so take this with a grain of salt) that one of those Cheating Date websites, has approached him to endorse their site.
