Asylum--
With the health care reform gamble now DOA and the recent loss of governorships and the costly defeat in Massachussets (way to tread on Kennedy's grave there, MA) it's time for the prediction thread:

Do you think Obama will be in office February 2013? If not, who?

Totally depends on the economy, and on any future crises.

Not even going to guess. Clinton lost the health care debate and control of Congress and then went on to another term and approval ratings upon leaving office that'd make most president envious. Doesn't mean Obama will do the same of course, just that making a prediction after Year One is a complete dart throw.

A Palin for president campaign would almost lock in the second Obama term.

He should invade Iran in 2011, because you don't vote out a War President.

Apparently he's waging war on the American people, so he's already a shoo-in Smiley: thumbsup

Pretty much. Obama'd have to @#%^ up pretty badly between now and election to keep me from going and voting for him just to keep that moron out of office. And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Ask again in 2012 when there is an opponent and a campaign.

Too early to say. He's an intelligent man, and he admitted yesterday on Stephanpopalous that he buried his head in his work and lost touch on some things he couldn't afford. Hopefully he'll take steps to correct that.

Am I the only one who doesn't know when to stop saying his name? It usually comes out "Stephanopolopadopalous".
