Here again. Friday, friday.

What's on tap for the weekend?

The Mr. is back tonight after out-of-town business all week so we'll probably have a late supper and watch the Canada/Slovakia game. Jack starts pee wee soccer tomorrow and Mia starts U5 soccer so we'll be running around there. I hope to visit the gym and de-stress a little. Looong week.

Sunday (fingers crossed) I'll be watching Canada vs. USA in a gold medal game. I may even have a glass of wine if we win. Yay!

We seem to have developed a permanent rainy-weekends weather pattern. I'll be trying to dodge rain drops as I run various errands. Now THAT should be an Olympic event.

I hear that, Samira. Weather around here has been cruddy; not even bad or difficult, just cruddy enough to keep us feeling blah.

Of course, I hate summer here so I should embrace this cool weather while I can. Soon enough I'll be sweatin' my tits off.

It's just a tease, really - clear and pretty during the week, then rainy on the weekends.

Oh, well, it won't be long before we'll be wishing it had rained more. Water management in Cali is a nightmare.

I think I'm gonna go see Wolfman with my sons girlfriend.

I woke up without out any power this morning. My road was the site of a great battle between forest and wind. I think the wind won. Depending on the duration of the outage, it could frick up weekend productivity.

I'm so glad it's Friday, this week has been really tiring for no real reason, so it'll be nice to take a break. Going on a date with a cute girl, so it should be fun!

Holy god the controls on that game blow ***. I only played the demo though, I hope it gets getter.

For myself, I'm pricing prints for the website and setting up an art show, inside an eye doctors office. Logical place, right?

Snow sucks! Gotta dig out. Then maybe some gaming with the wifey.

Should probably balance the checkbook at some time over the weekend, and I am taking my daughter to a bridal show Sunday as she is getting married in 2012.

Yeah, the controls take a lot of getting used to. Eventually you reach a point where you don't even have to think about which buttons to push and the story just sucks you right in.

I'm rebuilding my brothers computer now that the parts are here. he melted it but good. Saturday, more yard work, beginning the irrigation system assuming things don't get rainy. just preliminary measuring and whatnot.

Sunday, Not sure yet. Might go see a movie.

House crap. Yard crap. Car crap. Taxes and other financial things to take care of.

It is not going to be a fun weekend.

Especially if I do end up working on Sunday.

This week has also kicked my *** hard. What I want to do is send the kids away, sleep, game, and ignore everything else. What reality shows though is a 2 hour drive to my moms house tomorrow, trying to keep 3 kids and 4 dogs from killing each other. I dont even want to think about Sunday. Although I'm taking a sabbatical from raiding so thats one stress I can not worry about for awhile. Hopefully I can really enjoy my games new expansion

It's f*cking snowing again. ><

Also, I bought this chair. So far it's looking to be a pretty average weekend.

How are you liking that chair so far? I need a second chair for upstairs, as the old beat up red and grey one i've been using as the secondary computer chair for years did not survive the move.

I've only sat on it in the store. They only had a couple of assembled ones in stock, which would not fit in my car, so they are shipping it to me. The shipping is free and it's actually coming to my house instead of me having to pick it up in the store, which is nice. I'm not a huge fan of the red, I would prefer solid black, but it's obscenely comfortable. I tried out every chair in the place and it had the best combination of cushion and support.

Thursday morning we left early for a mini-trip to Myrtle Beach. It was something my husband had to do for work and the little guy and I tagged along. It was weird being at the beach when it's cold, but we pretty much had it to ourselves, haha. We got home this afternoon. I'm worn out.

Can be, especially in terms of time commitment. 'S why I don't do it any more, though I had a blast raiding back in the day.
