Jokes aside, the guy who made this made it as a satire and as a way to "open up dialogue" about violence in the media. Surely not to promote himself as a filmmaker, because I've taken better home videos when drunk.

Right. I'm not sure I've ever had to guard my kid from this level of violence because, well, I FUCKING CONTROL WHAT HE WATCHES AND PLAYS WITH BECAUSE HE'S A CHILD. I'm sure he tried that, already though and making this made more sense.
