I'd imagine once Jillian switches from the crib to a bed, we'll still have a Monitor in her room so we can hear her and the doors will always be closed and locked.

Hows that going for ya? Any improvement on the home front?

Yes ma'am. A little talking and a lot effort can get you places Smiley: smile

Oh and taking step back and evaluating your life helps too.

Ha! She wishes. No we just try our best of keeping an open line of communication and sense of humor. You'd be surprised how far a simple joke or taking ones self lightly can take you.

Foot massages help as well, as I'm sure you know.

No I did walk on one of my parents. My mom was visiting relatives with my two little sisters and my father went into a bar that night. You can just imagine my amamazement when I wake up at 4 a.m to hear moaning from the living room. It was @#%^ing horrible. The storm of emotions just surged through me.

At first I cried in my bed for a few minutes (I was 17 at the time) but then anger and things like that struck me. He is stabbing my mother in the back on the same couch we watched TV last night together? While I am at home? THAT @#%^ING IMPUDENT SWINE. I just rushed to the living room and confroted daddy and that dirty lil ho he was messing with. I also tried to throw some kind of half-assed punch at my dad but he just grabbed me and told me to calm down while I yelled like a crazy pig.

Five days later dad moved out of the house and it took me two months before I even talked to him next time. My mother was devastated and our family was shattered forever. Most soul-crushing was seeing my sisters crying to me (4 and 7 at the time) ''why daddy has to leave'' because they had no clue or couldn't even understand what had happened. Thanks for being a good rolemodel you *******!

EDIT: I haven't been directly caught but one night I brought a girl home and being drunk like an *** I probably dumped the condom under my bed after usage. At least that's where dad found it back before his little stunt.

Wow... Something like that must've been terrible. I'm not really sure what to say really, I hope things worked out okay for you and your family eventually. :-(

As for me, I walked in on my parents once, back when I was about 12 years old. I was sick at the time and just threw up all over the bathroom, and I wanted to warn them about that. I was quiet in order to not wake my brother though, and so they never heard me coming. So when I caught them, I simpily sneaked away, as I didn't want to disturb them so they can clean up barf.
So, I just cleaned it up myself (throwing up again in the process, but actually in the toilet this time), and the next day just acted like nothing happened. To this day they still don't know I caught them.
