I'm curious what the survey results will be. For largest problem we have like 5 votes here for Economy, one for Health Care, and one for weed (seriously BT? You live in Iowa? I could have sworn you were from the West).
For me, the largest problem facing America is the inability of the majority of Americans to pay attention to large, complicated problems - or to elect people willing to do so in their place.
They live in a simplified fantasy world where things like: "if only those darn people from X were not doing Y, then they would have a job, or pay lower taxes" are truths. This has to some extent always been the case, but just compare any major political issue today with, for example, the debate over NAFTA. It was a vastly more civil, nuanced, open debate then anything we've had in a long, long time.
