So after visiting the beach this weekend (hotter then heck here now), we drive up to the usual seaside restaurant. Great food, giant outdoor eating area, the usual young kids (say, 2-4 years old, don't know which was the actual b-day boy/girl) party in progress next to the giant sandbox. But to get there, right up front, are about 50 Hells Angles.

Well, comparing the modern version from those of the Life photos, these guys had less hair, were about the same age on average, and their bikes were larger (and immaculate which might be the same in the photos, but hard to tell).
I walked by them about 7 times (fetch kid gear from car, get food, take kid to bathroom, etc) and one time I felt about a dozen pairs of eyes following me. I was carrying a pizza. I guess they were hungry?
The place is midway between Ventura and Santa Barbara. Great place to bring kids. From the 3-4 couples I spoke with there, between us all we must have visited about 50+ times and this is the only time we'd seen such an immense group of bikers there.
