Watched 3 episodes of Kirby-induced anime.
Watched The Rocky Horror Picture show episode of Glee. Decided must obtain the original.
Sporadically websurfed.
Ate two meals.
Started to go into withdrawal from my drugs, since I usually take them just before I go to sleep.

I can't remember anything about Cast in Chaos now.

Hang on, there were dragons at the end. There was a bit with Nightshade. Were there Barrani in it? No. Who were the baddies? I don't remember the antagonists. Oh, the rip in spacetime and the new race! Ok, check, I remember it now.

I'm a bad bad patient.

Flying to Ca tonight for a wedding in Santa Monica on Sunday. 5 1/2 days off of work, woohoo!

I have the day off today, and this afternoon I'm flying to Dallas to visit my younger sister. She turned 21 last weekend, and my older sister and I decided that we would fly down and help her celebrate.

My liver already hates me.

Family gatherings, which I will enjoy, at inconvenient times, which I won't enjoy. Oh well. It'll still be a good weekend. Probably a lot of work to be honest, just because we're close to a deadline and I want to get in a few extra things.

Baby stuff, more baby stuff and maybe Round One of the annual leaf burn.

I have to visit one of our construction sites tomorrow. Sucks that I have to work on Saturday, especially seeing as I just spent 10 days from home while I was in NY overseeing another construction site for us. On the bright side, my sister-in-law lives 10 minutes from there and we can't go to our nephew's birthday party tonight as my fiancee doesn't want to drive home in the weather we're having come night time, so we'll get a chance to pop over tomorrow at least.

9/11 Mosque? Figures they'd bring in some dirty Canadians to do the job.

Laundry and grocery shopping tomorrow. Going to relax with some Fallout New Vegas tonight after work and probably watch this weeks Fringe and It's Always Sunny. Managed to get free Showtime for 12 months from charter so I no longer have to watch Dexter online after it airs. I think I also have to take a 'random' drug test for work tomorrow so that will be an annoying waste of work related stuff for the weekend. Maybe get half of my Christmas shopping done as well while I'm out.

Other than that, looking through recipes for something delicious to make for Sunday night.

Some house cleaning, taking Kai to Dominoes to get her cooking badge for Girl Scouts and working on a couple of Etsy orders.

Tonight, going to a co-worker's surprise 40th birthday party. I hope he doesn't read this site.

Tomorrow, getting a haircut and helping the wife dig out a bed to plant tulips, weather permitting. Then meeting my parents & brother for dinner in Harvard Square and going to see Gilbert and Sullivan.

Sunday I plan on sleeping until noon, meeting up with some folks to build a giant origami triceratops skeleton, and meeting with my fraternity's newest pledge class and trying to convince them not to binge too much on Four Loko.

At some point I want to download a video of last weekend's Stewart/Colbert rally, since we flew all the way down to D.C. but ended up missing the vast majority of it thanks to D.C.'s Metro system not being able to handle the ridiculous amount of people who wanted to head into the city that day. After we got to the Metro stop 15 miles outside the city, it took us over 3 hours to get in, and once we were there my wife and I accidentally got separated, we had no cell reception due to the crowds, and we were too far back to hear anything. The Air & Space Museum and International Spy Museum were awesome, at least, so the trip wasn't a total bust.

I plan on doing a whole lot of nothing. Yes. Nothing. Ok. Maybe I'll play on the computer and/or watch some TV or something. I'll almost certainly risk the Heisenberg principle effect on the Chargers on Sunday (sigh...). But for the last 4 weeks straight, I've had some major "must do" work that required me to log in from home. For the last 2 weeks I've been joking that "this weekend, I'm not doing any work", only to have something new come up.

So... This weekend, I'm not doing any work! Really. I swear!. I'm considering just not reading any email or answering the phone until I leave just to make sure.

After 3 days of man-'flu (possible complications of hypochondria) I'm finally back to feeling relatively normal.

Saturday night is a friend's wedding and I've booked a suite for me and the li'l lady at the country club where they're having the reception.

Sunday will be a nice hotel breakfast, a swim in the spa, a lunchtime pint on the way home, then the Brazillian F1 Grand Prix on the telly.
