Cat is finally getting back on her feet. At least the remaining 3. And I've got a ton of house chores and yardwork that neeeds to be done. Was going to do it last weekend, but ended up on the couch with the cat for most of the time because she was so doped on and kept on trying to jump around.

A friend has a birthday party Saturday night and I really want to meet her new girlfriend so I'll try to squeeze in that.

Sunday another friend has a baby shower. Thank goodness she's being easy for the gifts. All she wants is diapers and wipes.

My weekend will be filled with reading, I suppose. I'm really considering walking to town, but it's thirty some-odd degrees outside. I'll have to dress warm.

We're getting hit with a "weather bomb", whatever the fuck that is, so I imagine I won't be do much of anything tonight. Mother-in-law is down, so tomorrow we'll take advantage and just get out of the house and away from the kids. Not sure what we're doing though.

Plan on selling my car this weekend. Had it up on craigslist since Wednesday and have about a dozen hits so far. Need to make some phone calls and set up appointments this weekend. A used car salesman said it's worth exactly what I'm asking, if not more, so I'm hopeful. Plus, tax returns coming in should help!

That's about it, really. Maybe visit my parents too.

I plan on drinking. Heavily.

Co-worker released an update of the "perl script from hell" yesterday. Then went home for the weekend. Sigh... Let's just say I was here very very late last night fixing things that broke and leave it at that.

Actually have a weekend off. Happens once every 7 weeks now. Heading into Austin to pick up my laptop, Eat at
Chuy's for lunch, shop for new white shoes(Tennies and dress). Finally, attend the last meeting at the hotel where
Ushi-con will be held on the first weekend of Febuary.

It be my birthday, and the company I work for considers birthdays a paid holiday, so three day weekend. Too bad it's going to be in the single digits outside all weekend.

My wife went down to see her friends from the weekend. The weather is going to be below frigid, so I will probably spend all weekend playing with Thom and burning all the firewood I have left. Next weekend I'll have to cut osme more.

I haven't made any plans beyond requesting donuts from my husband when he comes home tonight.

No no, you have the donut, he's got the glaze. Don't you remember that song by Pauly Shore?

It was my day off today, so I went over to the perl district in portland and picked up some cooking supplies. Some nice black truffle salt, a few things of spices from Penzy's, also some good chocolate!

Tomorrow, I dunno what I plan on doing. Maybe i'll go see a movie?

A good sunscreen will help with unsightly moles.
