No, you're right. I started a topic on it when it happened in November. The DEA issued an emergency nation-wide ban on all known synthetic cannibinoids, including K-2, Spice, etc.
A relative of my girlfriend's had apparently become addicted to it, thinking it was as harmless as marijuana. He ended up going to his parents about it for help (rehab basically). This happened like a day before the ban.
My advice: if you're going to insist on using, stick to the tried and true, marijuana and alcohol. Even if a substance is legal, it's still illegal to abuse it (e.g. paint), and the DEA will always act in that manner upon discovering a new abuse substance.
