My wife will be accompanying me to the 'Roo ancestral home where my family will yell at a television for 3 hours. Hannah will be there as well, I hope the Patriots win so she isn't disappointed.

It's been 4 long years, almost half her life, since two Boston sports teams both held world championships. It makes me sad that she probably doesn't even remember. Hopefully our long regional nightmare will finally be over and she can rest easy again.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

The Bruins? I'm a Leafs fan, but Hannah has been indoctrinated by the locals.

I'm a little late to the Friday thread, but dammit I've had an interesting week.

I spent the first two days of the week (9 hours each day) recording my first album in an honest to George professional recording studio. I just have to tie up some loose ends to get it up on iTunes/Amazon/all the other smaller music sites. I've already managed to sell 11 physical CD's. This excitement came crashing down on Wednesday when I managed to absolutely butcher every song I did in a particular performance. Not a good followup. Tonight saw a bonfire, which started great but ended terribly, and the rest of the weekend will be filled with attempts to squeeze some time in with the lady friend while avoiding being productive as much as possible.

Very cool! What kind of music?

I think a transformer just blew up in Bound Brook somewhere. Loud bang, and now we're sans power. Guess no Syndicate for me right now.

It's all acoustic stuff. I'll probably post the info when it gets in the online stores, but I really hate the necessity of attention whoring in music. I always feel like I'm bothering people if I mention the stuff.

It's cool. I'll be sure to check it out when it goes live. Besides, it's all mutual whoring...I'll probably start doing the same about my writing sometime soon.

Which is why you mentioned it in the first place, right?

Yeah, yeah. I figure Friday threads are fair game. :) I just don't want to go all Myspace band and spam a bunch of people with information they care very little about. There's all the difference in the world between letting someone know and trying to let them know every hour of the day!

Post it on youtube and I'll make a badly spelled comment comparing you and Justin Bieber that's really just a badly disguised way of telling the world that I think he's gay.

We stole wood this weekend. Smiley: eek

It was kind of exciting. There was a shortage of seasoned firewood this year in my area. We couldn't get our full order. We ran out of wood about a week ago. There are a few spots out and around our neighborhood and the surrounding forest with little piles of wood left around for one reason or another. We helped ourselves (after dark and stealthily) to a couple cut logs from one of these piles that's been there since we moved in (5 years).

There's probably no one claiming ownership of the wood we stole. It's likely someone cleared an area stacked the wood and forgot about it sometime in the past. But it was still kind of intense snatching it up. I wanted to leave a note behind, but my husband was having none of that.

I also had to go shopping for a new mouse as mine died. I don't like the new one at all. Smiley: frown

That story is a lot less kinky than I thought, given the lead-in.

If you think innuendo the entire time only the last sentence is out of place, really.

Even then, if you think rodent it can seem pretty kinky.

Well the experience was stimulating - heightened the senses. But my heart was racing in a panicky way, not in an orgasmic way.
