I was being facetious gbaji. Joph made no mention to the fact that this quote was attributed to a "R" - you did. In fact you imply that one has to cherry pick quotes to find those specifically spoken by a "R".
I'm 99.99999% positive that had the statement been made by a Democrat, it would not have been reported, Joph would never have heard about it, and if he had, he would not have chosen to post it. The (R) was very deliberate. And it's why the original article was written, why it was quoted and repeated by another source, and why Joph decided to post it. You are incredibly naive if you haven't noticed the disparity between reporting of racism based on party affiliation.

That quote, what it says, is not really inclusive or exclusive of a political party. It's a stupid statement. You're stupid to point out that the stupid quote is from a member of your political party.
Then why include the political party then? Why not just leave off the R? You aren't seriously suggesting that the intent of the quote was to point out that it was a Republican who made it. Cause that would be really naive. Did anyone miss that the quote was from a Republican? Honestly?
It's not like democrats don't say racist things. Guess who said this:
Quote:
"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy... I mean, that's a storybook, man."
Ever heard that reported on a mainstream media site? Much less repeated? Or posted?
And on the subject of racist Democratic quotes, this one's particularly appropriate in the context of "why the hell do black folks vote Democrat?":
Quote:
“These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference. For if we don’t move at all, then their allies will line up against us and there’ll be no way of stopping them, we’ll lose the filibuster and there’ll be no way of putting a brake on all sorts of wild legislation. It’ll be Reconstruction all over again.â€
Quote:
"I'll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years."
Take a wild guess who said both those statements. Sad thing is that his strategy worked and today black voters turn out in droves to vote for the very party that has and still is ******** them over every single day. Not by accident. Not in spite of their best efforts and intentions. But because of a deliberate strategy to trap them in a state of entitlement (this is also appropriate to the "47%" comment Romney made btw, so you're getting a twofer.).
