So do we want to get into actual feasibility and tmeframes? Maybe we can't do it this year, but maybe we can plan it for next year - I have no idea what other people have going on but I know that with kids, much advance planning is generally required and by now most folks with kids have their summers and probably even falls lined up. Also, to be perfectly honest, I'm of the "wilt in the heat" New Englander type and wouldn't normally chose to head south in the summer since the New England summer is what I live for the other nine months of the year.
Anyway, if we want to actually get real and plan something, maybe we move to a non public venue for discussion. The last couple of times that was a private forum, but I'm not sure those are a thing now? Or are they? We can do a private FB group, that works too.
Oh, and I'm NOT planning this one. No really. Tare started it and if she and DSD are going to be the "area hosts", I vote one of them goes into logistics. I still really really think that renting a whole house would be the best (and least expensive) option, especially if we're bringing kids (kids room, hello?) We can cook meals and buy booze by the bottle instead of eating out and it's nicer to drink in the livingroom rather than a hotel lobby.
Ok, I'm done...
