I agree that whomever buys it almost certainly will buy it because of the whole "lost for 100 years" bit, and will pay a pretty penny for it. But once the novelty/buzz wears off
Interesting provenance very rarely "wears off" in the high end art market. It's not going to be Starry Night or Sunflowers in 20 yeas, but it's also not going to be those tomorrow. It will, almost certainly, be worth more than an piece of equivalent quality with a less interesting history.
