Saturday I did 42 seconds of stand-up comedy for the fourth time. This comedy show I've been frequenting, where audience members can put their name in a bowl - if your name is drawn, you get 42 seconds on stage before the last act. I've been lucky enough to get my name drawn every time, and this time I only had to have THREE beers worth of liquid courage. The show is otherwise comprised of actual traveling, professional comics. No big names though, although this week had
Mr. T's daughter (yes, his actual daughter).
Sunday my bar trivia team went to a big tournament with like 40 teams. We finished in like 6th or 7th place, just a few points out of the money. One question, I napkin-math estimated the combined surface area of the great lakes to 99% accuracy. Although our team lost a bunch of points by not knowing the original color of Oscar the Grouch (orange).
