"End out" is not correct.
Say's who? I've used the two phrases interchangeably my entire life and until a couple months ago when Smash suddenly started making a big deal out of it, no one has *ever* commented on it.

Precisely. So what's the problem?

But regardless of what it may actually mean in English the correct terms are either "end up" or "turn out".
These are phrases, not words. It's not like I'm saying "irregardless" or something. "end out" is a combination of two words, both of which have meanings that logically combine in the phrase "end out" to be quite clear as to the meaning of the phrase.

I didn't notice it until yesterday but a forum search of the "end out" phrase is pretty much all him or people replying to him with quotes. And apparently he uses it a lot.
Yup. Never had anyone suggest it was incorrect to do so. So one might question why this suddenly is an issue right now? Bit absurd, even if one is going the grammar **** direction.
