If you were to put a pt together of players on our server based on skill in their respective class, and playing style (not level) who would your Pt consist of?

Depends on the level that you are at. It's always going to vary, the main shift being at lvl 41, rdm becoming healer. The others are pretty interchangeable. My favorite DD is Samurai, and you can't beat having a SAM and a MNK in your party. Personally, as far as healers go, i could care less RDM(after 41) or Whm (before OR after 41) As long as they know thier job. Nuker, I would say smn, because then you have a nuker AND a buffer, but if you have only DECENT dd's, then you'll wanna go BLM. And ninja's always make the best tanks, but ONLY the rich ones. So i guess, here's my IDEAL party.

DD-MNK/WAR
TANK-NIN/WAR

Perhaps I misunderstood the phrasing of the original question, but I got the impression that Neurosis was asking for player character names to fill in the blanks for each slot, based on your experience with them.
As much as to say "If you could build a party with the best players you've ever met on Lakshmi, who would they be?".

This is the exact setup for the best party i have ever had, the DRK,PLD,and RNG shared hate with utsusemi ichi and as whm i rarely used mp to heal, i pretty much just hasted them and went on. This setup was getting about 6k xp/hr

I think he was referring to individual players not job classes, Which if its the case most will likely pick their statics or LS mates.

I don't hate THF! I was actually going to say SAM or THF or RNG and stuff... 'cause like, I think THFs get a lot of TP, occasionally. THF/NIN too, those are good. So SAM, RNG, or THF XD. (Maybe DRK for stunning the gobs... but I don't think they get TP fast enough >.<; unless they have good accuracy.)
