Last night the Galka of Lakshmi staged a spontaneous protest in Lower Jueno. It started out with only a few Galka, but then more of our brothers joined us. Eventually, we had a full line across the walkway of Lower Jueno, not allowing anyone to pass without hearing our cry "Equal-rights-for-Galka!"
We are against Hume oppression! We will no longer be your slaves! The Hume race only considers us good for two things, as tanks, and miners. We will no longer work in your hot sweaty mines, to the beat of a drum!
Galka can be mages too! Galkas no longer have to be restricted to a life of being tanks. More MP for Galkas!
This protest lasted all night, with more of our brothers joining us (if only briefly) throughout the night. I encourage all the Galka on Lakshmi to speak their mind. If you dont feel like being a tank anymore, pick up a hammer, and be a whm, pick up a staff, and be a summoner! Equal-rights-for-Galka!

What about equal rights for tarus? I want to be a warrior! Who is to say that I can't? I think humes are oppressing us all, we should start oppressing them!
I Werty have done my part to turn the tide. I hired a hume mule to do my farming, mining and to sell off the spoils and send the gil to me. Ha ha, kneel before me mule.

I think us galka have it hard enough since we are "only assumed" to be male, and the lack of sexual organs. Not to mention the fact that Galka only have four fingers (go ahead and count them.)

Why do you think we take it out on the Galkas? Were slightly talented in every aspect of the way, we saw the Galka as strong and we loooked at our average frame hauling average loads of ore.
Its childhood trauma that makes us do these things, we couldnt lift a big rock by age 4, but the Galka sure could.

Galka mages beyond dunes makes me feel safe. Being a taru nin i know how hard it is boosting war. This is why i have a gimped war sub. I personally prefer galka mages in higher level then say galka war on the account that that mage i know has to be good, and the war, well, ive had bad memories in the dunes like a lot of the people in this fourm.
Don't vote for tanta, he keeps an illegal Galka man-servant in his mog house. Nobody knows this, but the little girl in Port Bastok told me. You know..the mithra one with all the secrets.

But the Humes need to set all Galka slaves free now! If they do not more of these protest will happen. I'm the Galka that started the protest and believe me more will come, if my brothers are not set free. I have spoken with the Tarus of Windy and they pledge there full support to us Galka. So unless something is not done about this problem more protests will come!

I saw the beginnings of this last night just passing through Jeuno. I think it's horrible what these Galkans are trying to do. Don't they know we humes rule all? It's just a natural fact. We have spread throughout the world, and we're going to take over. So, quit standing around Jeuno, and haul that stone for me!
j/k, in actuallity, I'm saddened by the fact that there are so few Galka in the game. Two of the best parties I've been in, one had a Galka WHM, the other had a Taru WAR.
