Ok Ive been begging for help with my Evokers horn for going on 2 months now. Between post on here that never get any replies and me shouting in Jueno for 5hrs a day looking for ppl with me only getting lvl30 replies its really starting to discourage me. I saw a rdm af3 party start yesterday in 20mins. I even went with a pt the otherday to fight Ramuh 75pld/75thf/71mnk/69brd/73whm/and me 66smn. We got done with Ramuh and then I asked, we'll since were here could we do the 1st fight to my af3 plz, itll take 3mins tops? They warped shortly after nvr replying:( Honestly its not that diffacult of a battle but nobody seems to ever wanna help in this game. I almost get the impression of ppl saying "***** you do it yourself." Nice feeling to have during the holidays huh? Anyhow if anyone in this holiday season could actually help it would give me hope again. For the first fight it says a pt of 65s can take it pretty easy but I cant really solo myself. And until I get the 1st one done I cant get the items for the 2nd.
I have the heart to help, but not the levels! I'm lvl 49 atm, and i really don't think i'd do much good:-(
I have the same problem, I would love to help you but I am a long way from 65...If you put an alliance together to do it I'd be glad to give it a shot tho.

Eeek, the painful Af3. I will help if I am not busy. I am a lv62 war. Send me a tell if you see me online. I will be busy tonight though. Have a Prom-Dem run.
The sad part about af3 is that you will need alliance and people won't join you if you didn't already have a party going. (I personally experience this when I try to do my af3 and ls people won't help out unless I have build a party already)
The other problem is that it take forever to build a alliance and not everyone has the time to wait forever for the alliance to be build. I try to help out some people once on AF3 and they only have 3 people including me. It take them 2 to 3 hrs to get the rest of the people. All I can say is Af3 party usually is about luck or have a friendly ls that are willing to help.

I find it easier to ask people in advance if they can help me do something I'll need help with then to ask them if they can do it right away. Ask some people if they can help you next weekend or such, that usually gets much more replies (At least for me).
yeah but thats doesnt work metah, 1 post I did 3 weeks ago said anytime and Im the only reply I got.:(

Unfortunatly, most of the people that are really willing to help lack the levels to do just that. I've tried for my AF hat for more time then I care to remember. As nice as it would be for me to get it, meh, I got gear to make up for it. Penitints Rope is almost equal to it.

I'm always willing to help people out but unfortunately I don't have the level to help people too much. I think shouting in Jeuno is a fruitless venture. Posting in advance only gets the people that would be willing to help any time. Which usually isn't enough. There's a post by somebody on pld forum about paying for AF gauntlets. The majority of players are just too selfish to help somebody out.

After telling the 7 ppl randomly above they did help me. Finally I got my af3, I was extremly happy last night. Thats why I thanked them. So if I can get ppl for the dreaded Summoner af3 that is 2 fights then there is hope for others as well.
Try the VN boards, they seem to have a lot more higher lv's posting.
You should have asked before you went to Ramuh.
i have somelevels LOL my only trouble is there is only one of me. Just ask me anytime you see me on. I am always willing to help if i can. I have stayed in pts getting alliances together for hours. I dont mind. If my AF is important then shouldnt other peoples be too? And i usually find that if i help, then help is there for me.
