Do you just have media player running whilst playing FFXI or something? Guessing that's a stupid question, but just so I'm sure ^^
no streaming audio?? hehe powershout.com has live feed 24/7. and no actualy im using "win amp ;p" but playing ffxi on ps2 with my laptop right next to me :O

FFXI on PC, if you have enough memory, won't crash if you run a music player in the background. I stream whatever Stay's listening to through Winamp and play FFXI at the same time. >.>
To answer the question about having Media Player running, naa, I just use my laptop next to my desktop.
I use it to look up info on missions and things like that while I do FFXI.
