ooc hello im going to start a roleplaying linkshell real soon. is there anyone that would like to join? If so, Ill be holding IC interviews to join in port windurst near the home point on friday, January 8th at 9 pm PST. just look for Dasoso. Our requirment is that you must have an appropriete name for your character ie you cant have the name Crapbag or something like that. The only other thing is the while talking in the linkshell, anything you say that is not syarted withh OOC or begins and ends with <> or () is considered IC. You must also RP regularly. You cant just talk ooc all the time. If this LS turns out to be successful, I will work on a website for us. Ill post the name of the LS soon after I finalize on one.

ooc Ok wait! Im just trying to start up a new LS with one of my friends and I made this post to invite others. Now almost 5 hours later after making this post I have had my rating drop from 3.00 to 2.33! Whats the deal people!?

I could've sworn my roleplaying linkshell provided you with a world pass so that you could get to Lakshmi to begin with.
Then you turn around and start another RP LS without even trying to be involved with ours, after we paid for you to get here?
Where have common sense and decency gone?
I think CPM is just going to have to stop handing out WPs period, rarely if ever do people who cross servers stay, and with blatent betrayals like this I certainly do not feel obliged to throw anymore of my gil away on the hopes that someone will actually USE the WP I provided for them with my own gil in the way intended.

Uh, would you mind paying our Linkshell mate back for the world pass he gave you, then? You asked on our linkshell forums for a world pass to join our server and our RP linkshell, and then not a week later say you're making a new one? Seems like you just used us for a World Pass, which is a pretty dirty thing to do.

NO no no no no no! This isnt MY linkshell. Ok so it is, but not just mine. It was my friend Finwe's and mine idea as an idea to make a medium sized linkshell made up of our closest friends from RL and a few others. I dont want to leave CPM and am not planing too! My friend Finwe is paying for everything (the linkpearl) hes the main leader not me. Im working to pay back the WP anyway because I am graitful. Dont /kick me! *crys* I love you guys! I am still going to be a reguler member if you let me! RL has been a bit of a problem with the winter holidays and all. Im also not trying to outdo CPM or anything! Finwe wanted to start an RP LS, but didnt know how to start it. So I offered some assistance in the way of organizing this interview thingy. I was able to talk to the people in CPM a little bit and really enjoyed my time talking with you. It was really fun. This is just a small idea some of my RL friends decided to start and because they knew I used to be in a RPing LS before they came to me for help. But nothing my friends create could come close to CPM. EVER!!! I SWEAR!!! *hugs all the members of CPM*

*sigh*.........ok I tried to log on to the CPM forum and it said Invalid Username so I guess you had me deleted from the member list. That also means you probably kicked me out ingame too. *cry* Ok Ill miss you guys and tell me who to payback the gil if I am kicked out. *crys some more*

So you're doing open recruitment on the Lakshmi server, billing it as a roleplaying shell? S'funny, doesn't seem quite so small and intimate...
Anyhow, to my knowledge, pearls cannot be broken unless the member is currently online. We're not LS-***** at Canta, most of our members have secondary, even tertiary shells - Heck, for many of us, Canta is a secondary shell. Just felt that should be said for clarity.
I suppose the main problem here is how this looks. Regrettably, it DOES rather appear as backstabbing, however intentioned. Unless I misunderstand things and the way linkpearls work, your CPM pearl should still work, Daso. I doubt any of us are going to go into "Kill on sight, rawr" mode should you care to pop on and discuss things sometime.

I'm sorry, Daso... but it doesn't look like a good situation at all. I'm online regularly, and am the shell holder of CantaPerMe, and I've yet to see you on. From what I hear, the first step you took on Lakshmi was to make another linkshell. I would rephrase what Heccy said as far as "backstabbing." It appears as if you used us. If your intentions were to make another linkshell from the beginning, I'm sure there would have been others ready to give you a world pass here on Allakhazam.
Don't get me wrong... I'm cool with an alternative to Canta. It's good to have similar linkshells with differences, available to people out there. It's really just the ethics of it all. If you'd gotten a world pass and hung out in CPM and got a feel for our server, or if you'd gotten a WP from another source, I'd have thought nothing of it.
-World Passes were once given by our members to allow people from other servers to migrate to ours to become a part of our linkshell. They were not just a charity service.
-You expressed interest in CPM and requested a WP.
-You were given a WP, and came to Lakshmi
-You went on to get your own RP LS without a second thought about CPM.
Just review that, and think about it a little...
You say your friend wanted to start up that LS. Could s/he not have gotten you a WP?
