SAV EVENT== ALCHEMISTS OF LAKSHMI:
I CHALLENGE YOU TO AN IRON ALCHEMIST COMPETITION!

TIME: This Wednesday, January 12th, 10-11pm EST (7-8pm PST).


PLACE: Jeuno, Ru'Lude Gardens, Next to Maat.


CRAFT ITEM: Antidote
(lvl 3 Alchemy- Recipe: Wijnruit, San d'Orian Grape, Distilled Water-- Water Crystal Synth).


RULES: #1. Bring your own ingredients (All the base components can be vendor bought for 100-200 gil a piece).


I'll hand out SonkeiAboveVictory Pearls to ANYONE that wants to attend the event, making them officially in the Iron Alchemist Contest, and once the nearest day starts between 10-11pm EST, you'll have until the start of the next day to synth right there, AS MANY ANTIDOTES as you can.


So, if the newest day to start at that time is Lightning day, you have all of Lightning day to make as many Antidotes as you can.


In the unlikely event of a tie in the top 3 spots, it'll go to a sudden death competition-- first person with more Antidotes in a single synth over the other competitors wins.


NOTE:

You're on your honor that you're synthing them and not just bringing a pre-bought stash, since this is all in good fun ^^.


Person with the most Antidotes synthed at the end of that day will be IRON ALCHEMIST OF LAKSHMI SERVER. JPN, NA, EU, Galkan, no matter what your race or offiliation, if you can craft and wear a pearl, you can come participate.


ALSO:

You can wear/use anything you want. Have Caduceus, Apron, and Emeralda? Fine by me. Don't know what the heck those things are? No worries, you can come without 'em too. Want to craft naked? Sure thing. Want to craft with a subligar? NOOOOOOOOO!!! Well.... ok-- but NO SNIPERS!!!! :P

FINALLY:

If you know a high lvl Alchemist who might want to attend, but doesn't attend this MB often, let 'em know they're welcome to give it their all too ^^.

#1. Can we consume Poison Potions once the contest is over?

Sure thing-- but let's not overdue it-- don't want to turn this into some freaky cult thing :P.


#2. Can I participate even if I have no alchemy experience whatsoever?

ABSOLUTELY. The more the merrier, for this. Antidotes are a lvl 3 recipe, the ingredients are readily attainable and affordable, and as such it should be quite easy for everyone there to have some lvl of enjoyable participation. Just to give a rundown of the easiest way to obtain all the ingredients for this event:

A). WIJNRUIT (Stacks to 12)-
Price 110-124 a piece, Areebah at the Upper Jeuno M&P Store (H-6) sells them.


B). SAN d'ORIAN GRAPE(Stacks to 12)-
Price 69-79 gil a piece, Aveline at the Southern San d'Orian Grocery Store (F-7) sells them standard.


C). DISTILLED WATER (Stacks to 12)-
Price 10-12 gil a piece, Leillaine in the Upper Jeuno Infirmary (G-9) sells them.


D). WATER CRYSTALS (Stacks to 12)-
Water Elementals in a multitude of regions, fighting crabs and such in the outer low lvl regions, or just buying a stack for 500-1000 gil on the AH.

For a RL hour/Vana'diel Day of crafting, I'd say that's about 4-5 stacks of each tops.

#3. Do you think that Subligar and a Windshear Hat look ok together?

Depends on the subligar, but mostly everything looks great with Windshear Hat (It may not have +10 to Accuracy, but it's got +100 to Coolness ^^).
