Holy ****. We just had 2 AF3 feet in a single box. And f#ck 3 DRG drops and no COR. At least I got a free INT+6 ring from it. I lost /random on the INT+7 one. Smiley: frown

FFFFFUUUUUU missed claim.

Windurst missions are like Attowha Chasm and Abyssea - Attowha: SE threw in about one gem in each and then threw in the garbage they had left over with other things and hoped the playerbase would bite. We do...and still do.

Speaking of Abyssea - Attowha, chigoes don't seem to build ruby light. They do, however make for quite a bit of fun if you have a sprinter's drink and the NM is way in the back. After a linkshell Abyssea party, I popped a sprinter's drink along with phalanx, stoneskin and blink on my 68rdm and ran through, aggroing the NM and pulling about 50 chigoe along with me. I wish I took a screenshot, it was funny. :( I should've popped a fanatic's too, now that I think about it. Oh well.

The lol war/bst axe dropped. The Abyssea Ocassionally deals double damage axe. XP

I do want to get my rdm up to useable levels though. :< This is a stupid question, but how much tougher is it for a rdm to solo pets?

Not very hard at all. The trick is to pull right as soon as the master is done moving. The rest is simple.

Ah, the usual soloing method, eh? Thought it might be a little bit tougher since RDM is a tier behind.

Well BLMs should be able to one shot the mob so they don't have to worry about the master turning around and linking with a pulled pet. (Except when you are unlucky and resist. But that's when it's -dmg% set and sleepga /logout.)

Which pets are you thinking about doing? Xarc tiggers?

I've never actually done any exping on Xarc S or Beaucedine S tigers, just the tigers in Vunkerl when I was soloing my SCH up so I was thinking of Vunkerl unless Xarc or Beacedine is better.

Ugh....

These Windy missions are going to be the death of me. I can handle running around the world for no reason; I can handle lengthy, uninteresting cutscenes.

What I can't handle is attempting to solo the Rank 5 Fei'Yin fight and getting booted out of the battlefield when the boss is at 1%.

Expleeeeeeeeeeeeeeetive...

Since we're at page 53, I think it's safe to post again (I wanted to preserve my 666 status for the entirety of the page).

lol @ Everyone scrambling to do Windy missions because of the Atma. I'm so glad I'm a Windurst native and, as such, completed my missions quite a while ago.

Also, Atma of the Voracious Violet is amazing. I went out to Abyssea last night to level my PLD to 85. I went out as PLD/WAR because I assumed that I would be main calling, but we had a PLD, so I just grabbed the Atma, my Justice Sword, and my sword's batteries virtue stones. I was swinging nonstop, getting TP like a mad man, and outdamaging DD jobs on a regular basis with my vorpal blades.

Go Go LOLDDPLD!

Be a good citizen and dont crowd around the fire pit in abyssea-misareaux. it screws up with targeting and you end up mpking your fellow residents of lakshmi. thank you!

Yeah, I think I'm pretty much done with DRG for good. Soul Jump seems interesting, but I don't see much of a point in leveling a job that will never get used. I love the job, but I just can't see myself realistically using it now.

I'm just going to get mine in Gusta. It doesn't seem to be a noticeable difference in the NQ vs. HQ.
