Fullmetal Alchemist - Brotherhood is some seriously addictive shit. I was planning on going to bed six hours ago, but I can't. stop. watching.
And apparently exhaustion leads to a lot of unnecessary italics.

I need to start watching that, I watched the whole original, but never got around to Brotherhood. It looks really good though, so yeah...
It seems interesting whats the general synopsis of it without spoiling it?
It revolves around 2 boys and their study of alchemy. Alchemy is the process of deconstructing matter and reconstructing it into another forum, and has rules and limits such as the principle of equivalent exchange where something of equal value must be lost before something can be obtained. The boys defy the principle of equivalent exchange when they try to raise their mother from the dead; one of them loses his entire body and the other loses his leg in the process. The second boy then gives up his arm to affix his brother's soul onto a suit of armor.
That's pretty much where it starts out. The storyline is their quest to obtain a mythical alchemy amplifier, called a philosopher's stone, to get their bodies back They end up finding the corrupt power in the government (which is based around **** Germany) which threatens the whole nation and world.
I could have just linked to you Wikipedia, but it's more fun to type it out.
