A friend just gave me this book. She hasn't read it, but said she thought it was one I would like.

It's by Stephen Donaldson, the author of the Thomas Covenent series. I didn't like the Thomas Covenent series. Not because of the writing but because having a diseased skeptic as the hero bothered me.

Anyone read The Mirror of Her Dreams?

Is it worth my time?

I read it awhile ago, but from what I remember the book is pretty good, but the beginning is slow. There is also a sequel to it I believe. You should read the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever 1 and 2 . Yeah , he is a leper but they are really powerful books. Six books in all , and I have read the series at least 3 times over last 10 years. There is a 3rd one out now too. Supposed to be his son as hero.
