Since I'm not too familiar with those particular rules, can you even dispel psionics?

Depends on what rules you use. Standard rules yes, but if "Psionics are different" is used, you need a "Negate Psionics" or something like that instead.

I'd name a T-Rex the same thing.

Today we learn that being impaled by a tricerotops and being hit by friendly fire magic rainbow spray makes you somewhat groggy.

I think that was Miron who was hit by the spray, not Roy. But yeah. D&D. Levels. HPs.

Roy was hit with the lightning segment of the ray.

Look more closely. At the bottom of the face, and at the shoes.

I think you're right. The shoe colors are different outside of the yellow ray.

Heh... Mr. Scruffy and Blackwing got mind zapped.

Durkon looks like he feels it but not to the effect of the others. Dunno if that's intentional or not. Actually, Tarquin has the yellow "blast" as well but no ill effects.

Edit: I guess undead are immune to mind affecting spells/effects so I'd suspect he'll be instrumental in fighting Tarquin (to keep him from killing Roy) and/or Laurin (who can't use her best mojo against him).

Tarquin and Durkon both also have pretty good will saves, so that might be part of it.

I love how "punt" is a legitimate sound effect.

Sheesh. With all those hints, that was a pretty obvious plot twist. I mean, we all saw that coming a mile away, right guys? Right...?

Indeed. And the last thing he told Elan was something along the lines of, "Next time I see you, I'll probably die so you can cradle my body in your arms and swear revenge dramatically."

Here's his first appearance. His entire "arc" is just a couple strips long.
