Belkar doesn't even cast ranger/druid stuff. Also, he has an abysmally low Wisdom score.

Maybe there's an archetype for that. Or are archetypes not a thing in 3.5 and just in Pathfinder?

V really should reconsider the "sit on shoulder" option. Save a little on the cost of flight at the very least.

And remain in contact with a soon to be electrocuted Roc?

Guess that depends whether the writer decides the Protection from Electricity spell stops it or causes it to course through and affects the surrounding and things in contact. Which, either could be used for comedy.

V said "the former Master Thundershield." Does V know what's up with Durkon? Or suspect it?

V probably doesn't consider undead as the same person they were when alive. Next he/shel'll call Durkon "The Vampire Cleric Former Known As Thundershield", followed by "Ò¬".

I guess that was the point of the storm: to get them to stop in Tinkertown.

That'd be a wasted effort then since Bandana said they needed to stop there anyway.

Belkar is obviously planning something and "bleah" at tinkering gnomes.

I guess I should have said "to get them to stop for an extended period of time, instead of just refueling"

Kind of expected more out of this betweener arc. At least a few scenes of the crow being struck by lightning. Maybe I'm just accustomed to things being unnecessarily drawn out.

Of course, not having read the description of the spell or anything, but couldn't V just have cast protection from electricity on the ship instead? Or does that not count as a single person/thing? As cool as the whole Blackwing-Roc thing would have been, it did seem a bit impractical as a solution. Which, I suppose, makes it exactly the kind of thing this group would do.

I believe its target has to be a living creature. Someone elsewhere asked the same question.

Belkar's cloak snagged on the harpoon point so he's not going to hit ground/water. A rope or a Fly spell should suffice to bring him back in.

On side note, Durkon is still technically on course for his Oracle prophecy. What with him being undead and controlled and such.

He's already met it. Well, as soon as they enter the Dwarven lands (not sure if they're there yet, or just in the northern lands). He's definitely "posthumous" at the moment.

Bandana said they'd need special permission to go over elven lands on their way to dwarven lands or else spend several days going around. Roy says that he might know someone who can help with that (V, presumably) and we haven't had a hundred strips about that yet so I'm guessing we're just in the general "Northern lands" under the Norse pantheon and not yet over dwarf territory.
