Well. Things aren't going so well. Or about as well as you'd expect after lightning bolting a flesh golem. Hmmm... You'd think ol Roy should be showing up just about any time now. I mean, the DoGS managed to get there with their crowd control weapons system in response to the rampaging golem already, and I can't imagine that thing is super fast.
I'm getting a distinct "Darth Vader at the end of RotJ" vibe from Crystal. Not the "let me redeem myself' one, but the "I'm throwing a **** down a pit if it's the last thing I do" vibe.

Why would you give your flesh golem free will and thought?
"To conserve her expertise". Bozzok no doubt figured that Crystal's hatred of Haley plus her general lack of smarts would be sufficient "control" via manipulation.

And another new comic. Hmmm... Still not sure what he's getting after here.
Odin's High Priest probably just passed through, and Hel wants to use Possessed Durkon to kill him therefore starting a war between Odin and Thor.
Ah. That would take advantage of a bit of foreshadowing.
Oh. And what's up with the typos in the last few strips? Maybe "My feels have been hit..." was intentional (but strange), but "The clockwork leg on the once priest..." can't be, and maybe "I'm gonn work an' bring home all tha gold..." is just young Durkon's odd speech pattern, but in the next frame, he says "I'm gonna go ask her right now!". Just seems like there's a lot of inconsistency in the text that's a bit jarring while reading it. At least the strips are coming out more often than once every 2 or 3 weeks, but still.

So I was wrong and Hel's flunky is trying to buy someone sometime by sidetracking the OotS. Wonder if she's backing Xykon in secret.
I got more that there's a large number of clerics heading somewhere and Hel want's Durkon to go there too. If I were to guess, I'd assume that the world's Gods are aware of the whole Snarl thing and are maybe doing some kind of ritual related to it? No clue. But presumably Hel wants to put some kind of fly in that ointment, or take it over. Don't forget that Redcloak has his whole plan going on involving moving the gate/snarl/whatever to a dimension he controls so as to control it? Or something. I forget.

Pretty much. He wants the ability to transport the gate at will, in order to use it as a superweapon. "Absolute submission or I open the Snarl's gate in your realm" or something like that.
