I just returned from a long break (6 months) and i decided to start lvling Samurai again. I headed out as lvl 12 to Konshctat Highlands to solo while i waited for a pt invite.

Pssh. I usually take one look at the Dunes and level up with Empress on EP's till I'm high enough for Jeuno or Kazham based PT's instead. Valkrum is the newbie Purgatory. Expect torment.

Ahhhhh dune such a fun place, it's a total change from the high lvl parties ... when you are in dunes ... you must expect to die ... LOTS ... that's what ls mates are for, so you can all die in a group then laugh at what happened ^^

LS PTs in the Dunes/Qufim = fun. Anything else is sporking yourself in the face. And a dull spork at that.
I attend valkrum for a very small amount of time. heres my break down...
1) solo past the lizard stage, i come by at lvl 14 (those 10-13 pt's are death sentences without PL's)
2) stay for the crabs, goblins and flies. (crabs being the best)
3) haul *** the second anyone mentioned 'pugils'.
4) solo from 18-19, or 19-20.. hit qufim asap.

Didn't you know? it is said that a noob and a fool named Wanta is annoying everyone in there too, and he/she laughs at other's people english with no right like a completly useless garbage.
I always wonder why the Dunes suck / it#s *argh american keyboard settings, I only know how to change back in Dos 6.2 lol)
it's supposed to be easy, if you dress up with normal gear (not pimped but at least got every slot covered with something that helps your job/role in party or purely defense you're supposed to get by fairly easy. If you need 3-4000 exp to level up it means that everyone could get levels really really fast. Maybe it comes down to players just wanting to give up seeing as all they have is the level 5 and eventually level 15 job traits/abilities available to them. I love getting back to those levels cause it's amusing and challenging to have to try and figure out how to play the new job. It's usually a very relaxed attitude and you make friends easier. With that attitude, Dunes is never a pain anymore, just fun... if you get a noob party, just go solo and try again an hour later.

I know exactly how you feel, that is why I only do LS pts or friend pts in dunes, I will attempt by any means to solo a job passed dunes >_<

Ex. a "75 whm lvling DRK and you are a 75DRK
Meh just avoid there if you can, other wise suck it up and take it like ever one else does ^^. But if you have a job higher then dunes, lvl that for a while ... do escorts and just escort your way through dunes =p

I hat the dunes people are so elitist there they laugh at me for not having lepping boots but i told them i spent all my money on sleep pots for dynamix lord and they don't believe me and i alwys end up leving and soloing in dangruff waddie cause i get these cole jemstones and theire merry
